Free gym membership for new students

All new students will receive a 2 week FREE gym membership, a University
gym backpack and a t-shirt - NORMALLY $80.  Students will have access to
the University Sports and Aquatic Centre (USAC). It has a wide range of
fitness services, indoor swimming pool, state-of-the-art cardio and
resistance equipment and Les Mills group fitness classes.

New SciTech (Science & Technology) Library for CET students

Our library and computer lab will be moving next door into the brand new
SciTech library - Jane Foss Russell Building.  This is brand new state-of-art library with large write-on surfaces, stage area,
electronic and print notice boards, wall & desk whiteboards, projectors
- just to name a few!


New library cards - access all areas

CET students now get a FREE new library card that will access all
University's libraries and computer labs - NORMALLY $50.  This means
students can borrow books from any of the University's libraries and use
computers across the campus.


COURSE INFORMATION


Continuous assessment for IAW program

Students enrolling in our Intensive Academic Writing (IAW) program now
enjoy the benefits of continuous assessment during their 5 week course.
This means students are monitored more closely and given continuous
feedback on their progress.  Throughout the course students are given
assignments which contribute to their final marks.


CET English tests

As a reminder, students must either pass our internal e-test OR IELTS OR
TOEFL to proceed into their degree program.  Please note there is NO
DIRECT ENTRY PROGRAM.
